When the Child Protection Center (CPC) envisioned its new facility, the priority was clear; create a space where children and families could feel safe, supported, and at ease during some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
Partnering with Generator Studio, CPC worked with SPACESINC to bring this vision to life through thoughtful, high-quality furniture solutions that balance comfort, durability, and functionality. The result is a space that not only allows CPC to serve more families, but also strengthens the experience for everyone who walks through its doors.
From the moment families arrive, the environment is intentionally warm and welcoming rather than clinical or intimidating. In the lobby, carefully arranged seating creates opportunities for both connection and privacy, allowing families to find a space that feels right for them. Throughout the facility, interview, advocacy, and therapy rooms are furnished with comfort in mind, helping foster trust, ease anxiety, and support healing conversations.
Equally important was designing a workplace that supports CPC’s staff, who do emotionally demanding work every day. The new facility provides dedicated, individual workspaces, replacing shared desks and giving team members the focus and sense of ownership they need to do their best work. A flexible conference room equipped with modular furniture has also transformed how the organization operates, making it easier to host trainings, collaborate, and connect virtually.
At its core, this project is about creating an environment that cares for the people inside it, both the families CPC serves and the team who supports them. Every detail, from layout to furniture selection, works together to reduce stress, promote dignity, and enable meaningful human connection.
“We would enthusiastically recommend SPACESINC to other organizations. Their team was not only professional and responsive, but truly cared about our mission. Anytime we had an issue, they were on-site immediately to help. It was a pleasure working with them, and we deeply appreciate their dedication to creating a space that supports our staff and the families we serve.”
