The Children’s Mercy Beta Site was designed as a hands-on experiment to thoughtfully bring people back into the office. Rather than relying on assumptions, the space was intentionally furnished with a variety of settings including focused work areas, collaborative zones, and informal spaces so employees could experience different ways of working in real time.

SPACESINC partnered with Children’s Mercy to provide furniture solutions that supported this exploration. Each environment was carefully selected to encourage comfort, flexibility, and connection, giving staff the opportunity to test what truly supports their day-to-day work. Feedback gathered from the Beta Site now serves as a valuable foundation, helping Children’s Mercy make informed, people-first decisions as they plan their future workplace.
