In light of the coronavirus concern, Spaces is taking various measures to ensure the health and wellness of our employees, their families, our business partners, and our customers. We are committed to doing our part in slowing the spread of the virus in our community and across the world.
We have made and will continue to make changes to our business practices to operate within the parameters of the Stay In Place orders. We are utilizing our robust and contemporary technology platform to continue work from home and help our clients seamlessly. Fortunately, our projects are not under suspension due to construction falling within an essential business. Our work will continue with an at-will employee policy until any further changes come from our federal, state, and local governments. We did modify our office and job site operation policies in support of the various behavior changes with the intent to affect the health and safety of ourselves and others positively.
Our two major suppliers of materials, Knoll and Falkbuilt, are both in full operation, as well as, our installation partners evologic and MSI. At this time, we may experience extended lead times for parts and materials. The Spaces Project Leads and Project Managers are working diligently to monitor all moving parts and manage shipments to accommodate anticipated deadlines. They will be in constant communication with you.
Spaces is fortunate to collaborate daily with a strategic, industry peer group, the NICDC. NICDC is a group of professionals and consultants, along with our benefits providers and banking partners, banking partners, allowing Spaces to operate with clarity regarding the current situation and best practice ideas to be as effective and efficient as possible during this trying time.
As an organization, we are thankful for each and every person who is caring for someone with Covid-19 or who is active in a critical role in our healthcare and government systems. Spaces will continue to design modern interiors and identify new and innovative solutions to bring value-added information to the future of planning for wellness in the workplace once we rise above the virus.
We appreciate you and remain mindful of the many different experiences and life interruptions that currently challenge us all knowing that, collectively, we will overcome!
Stay well and safe…
