As Kansas City has secured its reputation as a regional tech hub and innovative community, the desire to remodel a portion of City Hall’s third floor to reflect a more modern aesthetic was a natural decision. Spaces, Inc. had the privilege of redesigning aspects of the building to achieve flexible workspaces which facilitate learning, creativity and collaboration.

The remodel included the third floor conference room, kitchen with an island and relocated an existing office to the other side of the floor. The city was impressed with the results. In a recent letter of recommendation, they praised DIRTT’s work as being quick, clean and looking sharp. City employees not only loved the modern aesthetic, they also appreciated the fact that staff were able to adapt to the changes during the construction and move from one office to another with little interruption.
